Speech: Stop Food Waste

Good Morning everyone,my name is Nancy Today, I want to talk about food waste. Around the world, people throw away a lot of food every day. Sometimes we buy too much food, cook too much, or forget leftovers in the fridge. This is a big problem. Many people in the world do not have enough food to eat, but at the same time, we waste food that is still good and safe. Food waste is also bad for the environment. When we throw food in the trash, it goes to landfills. There, it breaks down and makes harmful gases that pollute the air. Wasting food also means wasting clean water, energy, time, and money. Making food uses many natural resources, so throwing it away is very harmful. So, what can we do to help? First, plan before shopping. Make a list and buy only what you need. Second, eat leftovers and do not throw them away. You can also share extra food with others. Third, check the expiry date of food and use it in time.   With the arrival of artificial intelligence and other technological advancements, getting a good job in the future will require having the right contemporary skills. Eating Right and Exercising to Stay Healthy

  Different people have different ways to stay healthy. Some people like to swim, jog, or ride a bike because these exercises are good for strengthening muscles, improving stamina, and keeping the heart healthy. Other people like to stay healthy by eating vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. In order to stay healthy and enjoy my life, I like to exercise and eat right. For example, I like to do yoga, dance, and go hiking. The reason I like to do yoga is because it helps me relax and stretch my muscles. My Spring Holiday Plans

  Every year in Taiwan, we have several different holidays. This year, from April 3rd through April 6th, we have our Spring Break holiday. During this holiday, my family typically goes to visit the graves of our ancestors to pay respects. We also clean the house and take advantage of these days to rest at home. Additionally, we like to go to the movies or visit tourist spots to take photos and enjoy delicious food.Other people like to travel abroad, go on local vacations, or participate in cultural events and temple festivals. Some also use this time to rest at home or catch up on hobbies. In addition, many families visit the graves of their ancestors during this period to pay their respects.
